Bio
Christa Stoop (b. 1982, Ursem - The Netherlands) creates with her brand - VAN CHRISTA - geometric abstract designs. She likes to work with different printing techniques, such as Screen Print and Fine Art Print. Her work explores geometric shapes and colours inspired by modern architecture, art and design.
Influences
The love for geometric shapes originated in the Dutch Polder landscape she grew up in, with its functional lines and charecteristics. She is influenced by Dutch artists like Piet Mondriaan, Gerrit Rietveld and Jan Schoonhoven.

In her work she likes to play with self chosen restrictions and mostly work in series. All her artworks have an abstract style and tell a story about the daily (build) environment and landscape.
