Firstly, let’s start with the backstory – Karina has always been fascinated by the legendary Charlie Chaplin, so she decided to try and get in touch with the Chaplin family. And believe it or not, she actually succeeded! she asked for permission to create a Pop art portrait of Charlie himself, and after selecting and receiving a photo, she was given the green light.
Before diving into the creative process, Karina always makes sure to ask for permission from the individual’s management and/or the photographer. Only with their approval willshe proceed to make magic on canvas!
And when it comes to creation,Karina truly pours their heart and soul into the portrait, taking the time to genuinely connect with the subject. This process of deeper understanding and connection is what sets her work apart, making their art truly special.
